I'm diving in with both feet. I've had several novel ideas (and ideas for novels) swarming around in my head for quite some time. It's always easy to find other things to do, though. Work, internet, mothering, television...not necessarily in that order.
I figure that I'm giving myself one month to put my nose to the grindstone and crank one of these suckers out. The sucker might, in fact, suck. It probably will. But at least it will be words on a page and a starting point for something better. Mostly, it will get these persistent stories out of my brain. I'm tired of lying awake at night because the characters are creeping around in my head.
Wish me luck and make sure you hold me to task. 50,000 words by November 30th. Signing up today gives me just over a month to finish up some freelance articles and get my outlines in order. November 1st is the start date. Please check up on me to make sure I don't wimp out.
