The Sweet Smell of Love

Check out these gorgeous flowers that Kevin gave me for Valentine's Day:

He found them tucked away in a flower rack inside the door of Walmart.  The rest of the flowers were aesthetically so-so, but he managed to find this gem of a bouquet. It's cold and grey today in Colorado, and these flowers make me think of a warm sunset:

Or a hot day in the desert:

We've had a tough week of very little sleep and the kids fighting croup.  I wasn't expecting anything for Valentine's Day.  So these beauties, combined with the cheddar, garlic and zinfandel fondue that we made for dinner, warmed me up inside and out.
